Singer Jung In's Optimism Helped Her Overcome Hearing Disability

On the recent episode of cable channel OnStyle’s “One Summer Night’s Dream,” which was aired on September 10, singer Jung In appeared as a special guest to discuss the topic of “How to Make a Happy Life.”

During the show, Jung In talked about her loss of hearing at a young age. She stated, “When I was seven years old, I suddenly could not hear. When we went to the hospital, the doctor told us that he could fix my right ear, but not the left one.”

Jung In continued, “I didn’t want to be apologetic about it. I decided that I wouldn’t create anymore unhappiness in my life, and so I lived as a person who can hear on her right ear, not as a person who can’t hear on her left ear.”

During the show, Jung In also revealed how she became a singer and met her boyfriend Jo Jung Chi. The couple recently finished their run on the dating reality program “We Got Married.“ In their final episode that aired this past weekend, Jo Jung Chi proposed to her.
