"Shinhwa Broadcast" Return to Air Will Be Delayed

Variety show “Shinhwa Broadcast” will extend its hiatus for one or two more months.

In a phone interview W Star News, Producer Yoon Hyun Joon revealed, “We are preparing but it’s taking longer than expected. I can’t say for sure, but the show will return in October or November.”

“Shinhwa Broadcast” aired its first episode on the cable channel JTBC in March of las year. The variety program featured legendary idol group Shinhwa as fixed cast members and received great popularity from all age groups. However in May of 2013, the show went on hiatus with the group focusing on their eleventh album comeback, their Asia tour, and member Kim Dong Wan‘s drama. The show was supposed to resume its broadcast in September.

Yoon Hyun Joon also explained that the concept for the returning season of “Shinhwa Broadcast” has not been finalized. “Although we can’t have many meetings with the Shinhwa members, we are communicating with them. We had one meeting where everyone met together.”
