Han Chae Young Signs Exclusive Contract with SM C&C

Han Chae Young has settled onto a new professional home. The actress has just inked an exclusive management contract with SM C&C, a subsidiary of SM Entertainment, according to a report from local news agencies. Earlier, it was reported that she had been in talks with the management agency, after her contract with BH Entertainment ended in August 2013.

Han Chae Young’s exclusive management agreement with SM C&C is a strategic move to maximize her career across the different Asian markets. It is intended to further her domestic status as well as her increasing popularity in China. 

In a statement, SM C&C said, “Han Chae Young has done a lot of work and is known for her beauty and her acting. She is a proven actor and is getting known in Greater China as a representative Korean actress.” 

The actress, for her part said, “SM C&C is experienced in foreign business. I would like to take advantage of this strength and know-how to grow as an actor in Asia.” 

Han Chae Young joins other big-name talents in the SM C&C stable like Jang Dong Gun, Kang Ho Dong, Kim Ha Neul, Shin Dong Yup, and Han Ji Min, among others. 

Meanwhile, she is still reviewing her next project and hopes to announce one very soon.
