Lee Kwang Soo Achieves Success in Variety, Dramas, and Commercials

Actor Lee Kwang Soo has earned immense popularity, possessing a perfect balance of the three elements of television: variety, dramas and commercials.

He appears every Sunday evening on SBS’ “Running Man,” and brings laughter to those watching the program through his unique brand of variety.

Lee Kwang Soo appeared in the role of a villain for the first time in his life, stealing the scene in the recently finished MBC drama “Goddess of Fire, Jung-Yi.”

The versatile entertainer has also appeared in many commercials from public service announcements, to ads for beverages (Fanta), telecommunications companies (KTF) and clothing brands, a sign of his blue chip value in the advertising industry.

An industry insider explained the reasons for his popularity,  “Lee Kwang Soo is a more industrious actor than anyone else.
