Happy Dara Day! 2NE1's Sandara Park Celebrates Her Birthday by Joining Instagram

Sandara Park (Dara) of 2NE1 joined the Instagram family on her birthday, November 12. Her user id is daraxxi (xxi = 21 in roman numerals).

Her first and only post is of herself smiling for the camera while making a huge heart sign with her arms, along with the message, “HappyDaraDay,” as a way of thanking fans for wishing her happy birthday.

Since joining Instagram, she has accumulated more than 70,000 followers in less than a day. Her subscription to the service means that all the 2NE1 members are now on Instagram.

Fellow 2NE1 member Park Bom also congratulated Dara via her Twitter account, “Happy Birthday~~ Dara~~ This picture kekeke is from Dara’s birthday a few years ago~~!!! Kekeke I took a long time to find this picture!! Happy birthday Tinkerbell Dara~~~*^____^*”

The picture shows Dara wearing a Tinkerbell headband while holding a wand, and posing for the camera in the midst of trying to blow out the candles on her chocopie cake.

YG’s official blog also sent Dara birthday wishes, putting up a poster of Dara looking happy, with gorgeous long blonde hair and a glass of wine in her hand, and a birthday message that said “Happy 2013.11.12 Birthday DARA.”

Sandara Park recently performed in London at “KBEE2013 (Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo)” along with the rest of 2NE1 from November 4-6 as the event’s honorary ambassadors. She turns 29 this year. Here’s to a great 29th birthday, Dara!
