Brown Eyed Girls' Jea Has Been Dating YG Music Producer for 3 Years

Brown Eyed Girls member Jea has been in a relationship with one of YG Entertainment‘s music producers for about three years.

According to StarNews, Jea has been dating YG producer Choi Pil Kang (also known as PK) for some time. Each of their agencies are aware of their relationship. 

A representative of Brown Eyed Girls’ agency, Nega Network, confirmed this relationship. He told StarNews, “We would be thankful if you would think kindly of their good relationship. Although they have a good relationship, they have not yet talked seriously about marriage.”

Another colleague of theirs revealed that the two make time for each despite their busy schedules. Since they are musicians they have a lot in common and understand each other well.

Jea and Choi Pil Kang met when Jea was still a trainee at Nega Network. Choi Pil Kang had produced a song, “Who Do You Love?” for Brown Eyed Girls in 2006 for their first album. Three years ago, they started their romantic relationship.

Choi Pil Kang debuted in the group iM in 2007 with the single album “Be My 1004” under Nega Networks. The song also features Jea’s fellow group member, Narsha. The group disbanded and Choi Pil Kang went on to become a producer for YG Entertainment. He produced Big Bang‘s “I don’t Understand” and “Stupid Liar,” 2NE1‘s “I’m Busy,” Seungri‘s “What Can I Do” and “V.V.I.P,” and Daesung‘s “Wings.” He has also produced songs for MC Mong and Jewelry S.
