2NE1 Takes You Behind the Scenes of "Missing You" MV Shoot

The girls of 2NE1 take you behind the scenes of their latest music video of their hottest single, “Missing You“! Ever since its release, “Missing You” has been sweeping across the charts and earned praise from fans and support from fellow artists like Lee Hyori. Aside from the initial buzz about CL‘s scene in the music video, the bittersweet lyrics and accordingly tasteful imagery have earned it a solid place among other 2NE1 hits like “Lonely.”

Since the clip does not come with subtitles, here is a brief summary of some of the things 2ne1 talks about while on set!

Adorable Sandara greets fans at the beginning of the clip, “We are currently on the set of the music video shoot for 2NE1’s ‘Missing You.’ It’s been so long since I’ve shot something like this, so I’m not sure what to do. What will Sandara PD’ show you today?’ Ho Ho Ho. Since I haven’t had my makeup done yet, I can’t show you my face yet.”

And the rest of the members get to say a few words to the camera too! Minzy explains her concept, “I guess I would be dressed as a twenty-year-old girl who is longing for her first love?” 

Bom mentions what the girls experienced while recording the song. “When we were recording this song, we were sobbing uncontrollably. Even while filming the music video, my heart was unsettled. I felt sad.” 

While getting her makeup done, like a true fashionista, CL gives input while getting her makeup done before her bathtub scene, “It’s best if you look natural. I want to look natural on film like this. Sincere and realistic.”
