Lee Hwan Hee, who debuted as a solo artist last year but is probably more known as a previous SM trainee, will be returning as a member of a girl group this month.

Her agency Worthy Entertainment revealed to Star Today on December 3, “The girl group that Lee Hwan Hee has been added to will debut on December 18.” The group’s name is Summit, which refers to their aspiration to get to the top of the idol industry. The digital single will be released under Lee Hwan Hee’s name, but the song will be promoted by the whole group. The two other members are said to have both the looks and the talent. Their music show debut will take place on MBC Music’s “Show Champion,” and the single will be released on the same day. According to the agency CEO, Lee Hwan Hee will trying out acting and pursuing other activities in addition to her singing career.

Lee Hwan Hee joined SM Entertainment as a trainee back in 2002, and she trained together with current Girls’ Generation members Seohyun and Yuri to debut as a member of the group. However, she was eliminated at the final showcase and decided to leave the company in order to pursue her dream elsewhere. In 2012, she debuted as a solo singer with the song “Secret,” and made her comeback earlier this year with the sexy dance track “Monroe’s Heel.”
