Gong Yoo Reveals a Surprising Fact About "Reply 1994" Kim Sung Kyun

On the December 8 episode of MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment News,” Gong Yoo appeared for an interview. During the interview, he was asked what was the hardest part in shooting of his newest movie “The Suspect,” which involves action scenes for the first time in his acting career. He answered, “I remember the battle scene with Kim Sung Kyun the most. We had to spend 3 days straight in a deserted house to shoot the scene.”

Gong Yoo also took a reporter by surprise by revealing that he is older than Kim Sung Kyun, who is getting popular with his role as “Samcheonpo” in tvN’s “Reply 1994.”

He aroused a good laugh, saying, “Kim Sung Kyun looks at least 5 years older than me, doesn’t he?”
