Son Dambi Recruits SHINee's Jonghyun for Comeback Single, "Red Candle"

Singer Son Dambi is making her comeback after one year with the release of her third digital single, “Red Candle” on December 23! Not only that, Son Dambi recruited SHINee’s Jonghyun for a special comeback! 

According to Pledis Entertainment, Son Dambi wanted to take a step back from her sexy dancer-singer image and focus on her singing. In search of a fresh sound, she received several demos submitted by various composers, which included SHINee’s Jonghyun! 

The genre Jonghyun chose for Son Dambi is of the Bossa nova variety, which is a Brazilian music style that fuses samba and jazz. Not only did Jonghyun fulfill the duties of composer and lyricist, but he also had a hand in the vocal directing of the track!
