[Hiring] Geeks from Gangnam Looking for Booth Helpers at SXSW 2014

Come be part of the advancement of Korean creative content!

Geeks from Gangnam, the official Korean start-up delegation to SXSW 2014  being held in March in Austin, Texas,  is looking for energetic and passionate people to be part of its delegation to promote Korean creative content in the U.S. SXSW is an annual music, film and interactive conference that takes place every spring in Austin. Previous K-Pop acts to attend SXSW was the electrifying girl group f(x) in 2013. Critically acclaimed artists such as Jang Gi Ha & FacesCrying Nut, and No Brain will be joining the SXSW Music Festival this year.

Geeks from Gangnam is composed of 10 creative content creating companies participating in the SXSW 2014 Trade Show during the Interactive Festival (March 7th – 11th). The delegation is joining the booth exhibition at the Trade Show and hosting a promotion event in collaboration with Tech Ranch, the global start-up accelerator located in Austin, TX.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and powered by the Korea Creative Content Agency and Banks Foundation for Young Entrepreneurs, Geeks from Gangnam is taking the initiative of advancing into the global market for Korean content creators.

From among the delegation, Wazzle Entertainment, the K-Pop dance choreography providing platform, is planning to show a street dance performance for K-Pop fans. Burada Concert and JJS Media, the fan-initiated concert marking platforms are also bringing K-Pop artists to the busking scenes to demonstrate their services.

In the meantime, the Geeks from Gangnam delegation is looking for booth helpers during the booth exhibition from March 9th to the 12th. Residents of Austin, TX, biligual (Korean and English), and people interested in business and the start-up industry are preferred.
