Kim Soo Hyun to Make an Appearance on Popular Chinese Variety Program

After rising to popularity in China, actor Kim Soo Hyun will be appearing on a popular Chinese variety program.

Kim Soo Hyun will be the first Korean star to appear on Jiangsu Satellite TV’s “Super Brain.” It is a show that brings science and variety together where the guests play brain games. The specific date of his appearance on the show has not been confirmed; Kim Soo Hyun will be touring around Asia after SBS’ drama “Man from the Stars” ends, as well as filming a number of CFs.

He agreed to appear on “Super Brain” after receiving an invitation. His popularity in China rose through his role in “Man from the Stars.” Thus, the show contacted Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, KEYEAST Entertainment, with an official invitation. Simultaneously, the news was made public creating a buzz among viewers.

Kim Soo Hyun plans to promote more actively in China. A rep from KEYEAST Entertainment stated, “We received 7-8 advertisement offers from China. We’re still in the process of working out a schedule. We have no set plans, but Kim Soo Hyun is planning to meet with fans in China since we are receiving various offers from China.”
