Jung Yong Hwa Reveals That He Was Pursued by a Girl Group Member on "Radio Star"

CNBlue made a guest appearance on MBC talk show “Radio Star” on March 5, where Jung Yong Hwa revealed that he had previously been hit on by a girl group member.

“Radio Star” MC Kyuhyun asked Jung Yong Hwa whether he had ever been targeted by any popular girl group members before. Jung Yong Hwa replied, “There have been occasion(s) where I was asked for my number.”

Kyuhyun continued, “According to an anonymous source, a girl group member gave you her number by giving you a note through her manager.”

Jung Yong Hwa answered, “That’s true but I didn’t give her my number. She wasn’t my style.”

MC Kim Gura added, “This friend (Yong Hwa) used to be focused solely on his music, but he has changed a lot.” His comment caused those in the studio to break out into laughter.

Then Jung Yong  Hwa added, “If she was my style, I might have given her my number. If I liked her, we could’ve been friends too.”

Jung Yong Hwa also clarified several rumors about him and his co-stars. The first was his “We Got Married” partner, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun. There were rumors that they “live in the same villa” and “travel around in the same van.” The second rumor was of a romantic relationship with his “You’re Beautiful” and “Heartstrings” co-star Park Shin Hye.

He also revealed the untold story behind his SBS drama “The Heirs” casting. Jung Yong Hwa withdrew from the production in April last year, in what would have been his third drama with Park Shin Hye.

CNBlue is currently promoting their new album “Can’t Stop,” and had their comeback show on March 2 on SBS.
