Wooyoung Confirms 2PM Group Comeback in April
2PM will be coming back in April!
The hints were there. It was reported in February that 2PM were coming back in April, which JYP Entertainment denied. The boys also experienced a fire accident on the set of their music video in mid-March.
Now, 2PM member Wooyoung has come forward to confirm the comeback via the April edition of fashion magazine Nylon. He revealed in his interview, “2PM will be starting activities around the middle of April.”
This revelation comes despite the lack of official confirmation of the boys’ April comeback by JYP.
2PM’s new song will not be a song by JYP head producer Park Jin Young. Wooyoung explained, “The new song is by a foreign composer, and produced by Jun.K, with input from the 2PM members.”
2PM experienced a dangerous fire accident as they were shooting the music video for their new song in Gyeonggi-do on March 15. 2PM’s members and staff on location worked to help put out the fire before firefighters arrived on scene. No major injuries or property damage was reported. Some believe this bodes well for 2PM’s upcoming comeback.
2PM released their last album, “Grown,” in May last year, and the members been focusing on variety, dramas, musicals and other individual activities since. Fans will be pleased to know that their comeback is right around the corner.
