4Minute Takes 1st Place on SBS Inkigayo with "Whatcha Doin' Today," Edges Out Girls' Generation and 2NE1

Girl group 4Minute took a commemorative photo with their 1st place trophy to celebrate their epic win with the hit single “Whatcha Doin’ Today” on the March 30 broadcast of Inkigayo. The members give celebratory poses in the photo, with member Sohyun making a cute crying face as she holds the trophy. 

The members had a memorable reaction when the hosts announced them as the winners. The group was perceived as an underdog going against the big time singles of Girls’ Generation “Mr. Mr.” and 2NE1‘s “Come Back Home,” and their win against the two girl groups marks a memorable shift in the girl group category. Their celebration was remarkably different than the recent celebrations of Girls’ Generation and 2NE1, due to the fact they haven’t won as many trophies as the other girl groups. Maknae Sohyun made a surprised face as she heard the announcement, and she eventually cried a bit. Congratulations 4Minute on your epic win!
