Kim Soo Hyun Donates 300 Million Won to Danwon High School

Actor Kim Soo Hyun will be donating 300 million won (approx. $290,000) to Danwon High School

In order to offer his condolences and his support for the relief efforts, Kim Soo Hyun will be donating 300 million won to Danwon High School located in Ansan, Korea. 

It has been reported Kim Soo Hyun requested the money to be used to help the families, friends, teachers, and schoolmates of the victims who were involved in the Sewol Ferry tragedy and to build a group memorial for the students who lost their lives.

Meanwhile, many celebrities continue to participate in the relief efforts involving the Sewol Ferry accident which took place on April 16. As of 4PM, KST on April 24, 174 has been rescued, 167 dead, and 135 still missing.
