Lee Sang Yoon and Goo Hye Sun’s Love Line Thickens in “Angel Eyes”

A preview of Lee Sang Yoon and Goo Hye Sun’s love line in SBS’s “Angel Eyes” shows a change as Goo Hye Sun takes a step into the memories of her first love.

A picture was revealed on April 26 by the production team of “Angel Eyes.” In the picture, Soo Wan, played by Goo Hye Sun, and Dong Joo, played by Lee Sang Yoon, share their first kiss at the location that was most memorable to them.

Within the picture, Soo Wan is seen with her eyes closed and her hands carefully touching Dong Joo’s face. But, as she turns around, her face is filled with sadness and tears in her eyes. This scene in particular reminds of the first episode when the story took place 12 years ago. The young Soo Wan, played by Nam Ji Hyun, didn’t have the ability to see and in order to remember the face of young Dong Joo, played by Kang Ha Neul, she carefully touched his face and imagined what he looked like.

The preview of the fifth episode where the two characters meet at their memorable location has already been gaining attention from many. As Dong Joo looks at Soo Wan with warm eyes, Soo Wan says, “The world’s ugliest voice, Park Dong Joo.” Soo Wan’s significant dialogue adds onto the love line as a whole, suggesting a new change.

Continuing on, in the preview of the fifth episode, Ji Woon, played by Kim Ji Suk, Soo Wan and Dong Joo are seen having dinner together, following Ji Woon’s suggestion. In this scene, Dong Joo says, “My dream ever since I was little was to become a firefighter,” and Soo Wan responds by saying, “The reason why I became a paramedic was because my first love wanted to become a firefighter and I fulfilled his dream for him,” which created a subtle tension between Ji Woon.

On the other hand, the story of Dong Joo and Soo Wan tracing the memories of their first love will be aired today, April 26.
