g.o.d to Return with All Five Members, Album, and Concert

First-generation male idol group g.o.d is returning to K-Pop! The five-member group will be coming back will all members, with now actor Yoon Kye Sang finally making the decision to join the group in its return. It will be eight years since g.o.d is back with new music with four-members (Kim Tae Woo, Danny Ahn, Park Joon Young, Son Ho Young), twelve years with five.

The group will be managed by SidusHQ, and the agency revealed that g.o.d plans to release its eighth studio album in July along with a concert. The concert series will take place as g.o.d’s 15th anniversary concert and will take place July 12-13 in Jamsil, Seoul. Before that, g.o.d. will release a single on May 8, will proceeds being donated to the Sewol Ferry tragedy victims.

g.o.d debuted in 1999 with the song “To My Mother,” which was produced by Park Jin Young. With hits such as “Lie” and “One Candle,” the group earned the nickname “Nation’s group” in the early 2000s. Yoon Kye Sang left the group in 2002, and the rest of the members continued on as g.o.d until 2006. Check out their debut hit “To My Mother” starring actor Jang Hyuk below.
