Shin Sung Rok Confirms He Is Dating Ballerina Kim Joo Won

Actor Shin Sung Rok, who most recently received a lot of love for his villain character in the SBS drama “Man from the Stars,” has confirmed that he is dating ballerina Kim Joo Won.

News broke out earlier today that the two have been dating one year and nine months after meeting through friends. Shin Sung Rok’s agency, HB Entertainment, then stated that it would look into it with the actor, and later confirmed that Shin Sung Rok and Kim Joo Won are indeed dating, but have only been in a romantic relationship for the past few months. 

At around the same time last year, the two were caught up in dating rumors, at which time they both denied, stating they were just friends. According to statements then, Shin Sung Rok came to know Kim Joo Won because he was friends with musical actors who were in the same agency as Kim Joo Won. According to HB Entertainment, Shin Sung Rok and Kim Joo Won have only been dating romantically for about the past three to four months. 

Kim Joo Won is a famous ballerina who has been a member of the Korea National Ballet Company for the past 15 years and starred in the productions of “Swan Lake” and “The Nutcracker.” She is also a professor at Sungshin Woman’s University.
