Comedian Kim Hyun Chul Is a Proud Father of a Baby Girl!

Comedian Kim Hyun Chul is now a father after one year of marriage.

On May 6, Kim Hyun Chul’s wife gave birth to a daughter at a hospital in Seoul. It has been confirmed that both the mother and the baby are in healthy condition.

Kim Hyun Chul expressed his joy by saying, “We got married a year ago on Buddha’s birthday, and it’s really amazing that my wife gave birth after a year. I thought to myself that if the baby was born on Buddha’s birthday, then it would be good since it’s also our wedding anniversary, so I’m really happy. When we saw the baby through ultrasound, the baby looked like my wife but when the baby came out, she looked like me.”

Buddha’s birthday, which is celebrated as a national holiday in Korea, fell on May 17 last year and on May 6 this year.

Continuing on, he said, “On May 5, she started getting labor pains so we came to the hospital and it was really hectic. I didn’t know what to do. As I watched my wife go through labor pains, I thought that all mothers on this Earth were amazing.”

In April, during the variety show “Hundred Year Guest-Jagiya,” he revealed that he was going to be a father in May.

Kim Hyun Chul tied the knot last year on May 17 with his bride who is 13 years younger than him.
