"Trot Lovers" Character Stills and Description for Lee Se Young, Son Ho Joon, and Shin Sung Rok
KBS’ upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama, “Trot Lovers,” has released character stills from the remainder of its leading cast after Ji Hyun Woo and Jung Eunji. Featuring Lee Se Young, Shin Sung Rok, and Son Ho Joon, the stills portray each character’s personality and role in the drama.
Lee Se Young plays the role of Park Soo In who is an ambitious, fellow singer in training at the same agency as Choi Choon Hee (played by Jung Eunji). Park Soo In is also the first love of Jang Joon Hyun (played by Ji Hyun Woo), as well as the daughter of a famous songstress mother.
Shin Sung Rok plays the role of Jo Geun Woo, who is a strong supporter of Choi Choon Hee. Jo Geun Woo sounds too good to be true, being humorous yet cynical, easy-going yet direct, and born with natural business skills.
Son Ho Joon plays the role of Seol Tae Song, Jang Joon Hyun’s manager who dreams of becoming a trot star. The jogging suit in different colors is his trademark outfit, making one think of Power Rangers.
“Trot Loves” draws the love story of two singers, one who becomes of dreaming a trot singer (Choi Choon Hee) and one who hates trot but is forced to sing it (Jang Joon Hyun). It is directed by Lee Jae Sang and written by Oh Sun Hyung. It premieres Monday, June 23, on KBS, after “Big Man” completes its run.
