EXO's Chanyeol Plays 2NE1’s “Missing You” for Park Bom, Watches "Overdose" Together
EXO’s Chanyeol showed his piano skills to 2NE1’s Park Bom on SBS’ “Roommate.”
On the June 8 broadcast, Chanyeol played the piano for 2NE1’s song “Missing You” while Park Bom hummed along.
Park Bom was amazed by Chanyeol and called him a “genius” after he confessed, “I’ve never learned to read sheet music, but I can listen to a song and play it.”
Additionally, the two idol singers collaborated for the self-composed song that Chanyeol had previously shared with Shin Sung Woo. Shin Sung Woo added a melody and lyrics to the song on the spot, and Chanyeol shared with him a different musical partnership than with Park Bom.
Park Bom and Chanyeol also watched EXO’s “Overdose” music video together, sharing a bit about how long EXO and 2NE1 practice their choreography. Park Bom asked how long EXO practiced for “Overdose,” impressed by their music video. Chanyeol answered three weeks. Park Bom reveals 2NE1 practices two days for their songs usually. Chanyeol adds that EXO practiced “Growl” for three to four months.
Park Bom also reveals she watched the music video for “Growl” many times, and other YG staff members chided her for watching it so many times with the music so loud at YG.
After she finished watching “Overdose,” Park Bom says she thinks “Overdose” will do really well.
