EXO and 2NE1 Top Billboard's Most Viewed K-Pop Videos in the US and Around the World for May

Every month, the music site Billboard.com publishes a list of most viewed music videos both in America and the rest of the world. The list shows how different and similar in some ways viewers in America are with viewers in other parts of the world.

For the month of May, Billboard.com lists EXO-K, EXO-M, and 2NE1 as powerful groups garnering a lot of views for their music videos both in America and the international scene. However, the rest of the list shows the differing preferences of the most viewed videos in America and globally. While boy groups such as VIXX and INFINITE rank next to EXO and 2NE1 in America, the global ranking shows Akdong Musician and IU taking the next spots in the list.

While preference definitely plays a big part in the ranking of the music videos in America, recent activity in the country also helps boost the popularity of groups in the area. EXO, VIXX, and INFINITE all have had concerts in America in the previous months.
