Girl Group Scarlet to Comeback with Remake of Bang Si Hyuk's "Hip Song"

Rookie girl group Scarlet is returning to the music scene with a remake of the song “Hip Song,” which was originally released by producer Bang Si Hyuk for the Banana Girl project in 2003.

Scarlet debuted in March of this year with the digital single “Do Better.” “Hip Song” will be their second digital single. According to the group’s agency, Toilet Music-Funny Collection, the remake will highlight Scarlet’s unique color. The remake is produced by popular DJ “2E Love,” and promises to be a refreshing song perfect for its July release. 

Along with the announcement of Scarlet’s comeback, concept images were released, which show the members enjoying summer at the beach and at the pool. One gives you a small preview of the choreography for “Hip Song,” which will definitely include some emphasis on the the hips.

“Hip Song” drops in the first week of July.
