Kim Hyun Joong Will Be Releasing a Mini Album Called “Timing”

Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong will be releasing his fourth mini album “Timing,” on July 11, making an official comeback as a singer.

His agency Key East Entertainment, revealed on July 2, “It has been a year since Kim Hyun Joong released a new album and will be returning to the stage. As a singer who’s been in the entertainment for 10 years, this album contains Kim Hyun Joong’s worries as he reflects on the road he walked on and trying to find a new path he will be walking on.”

In this album, it contains an up-tempo dance track called “Beauty Beauty” and also an urban hip-hop track called “His Habit.” He also included an acoustic, ballad track for his fans called “Nothing on You,” as well as a modern, British ballad called, “The Thing I Wanted to Stay.”

The teaser image that was revealed on this day shows an old alleyway that includes remnants of the past as well as an urban feel as Kim Hyun Joong enters the frame. As the past and the present mix together in one image, it raises the expectations for his upcoming album.

This album is gaining a lot of attention as overseas artists participated in producing this album. Guitarist Brent Paschke, who works with Pharrell Willianms, and Far East Movement’s keyboardist, Mister Rocks, participated in this album. *See note below.

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong released his fourth Japanese single “Hot Sun” last month and was placed first on the Oricon daily chart and the weekly chart. He is also planning a world tour where he will be visiting seven countries and 11 cities.

Edited for accuracy: There was an error in Keyeast’s initial press release that incorrectly named Peter Daily as one of the contributing artists in Kim Hyun Joong’s new album. It is not Peter Daily, but Far East Movement’s keyboardist, Mister Rocks, who participated in Kim Hyun Joong’s album.
