VIXX Participates in “Shoot for Love” Campaign For Children Diagnosed With Cancer

Boy group VIXX has participated in the “Shoot for Love” campaign for the children who have been diagnosed with cancer.

On July 9, on the Facebook page of “Shoot for Love,” pictures of the six members succeeding a penalty kick for the diagnosed children were shown.

“Shoot for Love” is a campaign that is held on a soccer field and every time a person makes a goal, $5,000 won (~$4.95USD) is donated towards the diagnosed children to help with their treatments. It all started when a report saying that if 1,000 goals were made, the life of one child can be saved.

The members of VIXX participated in this campaign despite of their busy schedule of preparing for their first concert.

For this campaign, former national soccer player Ahn Jung Hwan, Kim Sung Joo, singer Hong Jin Young, actor Seo Kang Joon and professional soccer teams participated. Including the members of VIXX, a total of 1,659 goals were made.

Meanwhile, VIXX recently released their Japanese debut album “Darkest Angels,” and have wrapped up their promotion. The group’s first concert will be held on July 18 at the Seoul Olympic Park.
