EXO’s Tao Appeals for Fans to “Trust” Him in a Personal Message

EXO member Tao has taken to the Internet to urge supporters of the troubled boy band to “trust” him, and to speak of “misunderstandings” between him and fans. 

Posting on his Instagram site in English (see the photo below for the whole text), Tao explained that he was writing a message to dispel “rumors” that have been circulating on the web, although he did not mention any more details about the nature of these. He wrote, “It must be some misunderstandings between us. After all, rumors have stayed with me since I joined […] EXO. I never want to explain or dispute […] any of them.”

He also pledged to always be honest with his supporters, writing, “I will never […] lie to you guys.”

Tao may be speaking of rumors that have been going around the EXO fan community lately of a strained relationship between Tao and Kris. There seems to be a certain portion of the community that believes Tao stole from Kris and insulted the now estranged fellow EXO member.
