Taurine Offers Up a Visual Feast in “Wish List” Debut Video

Taurine has released a music video for their debut single, “Wish List.” The three-member girl group is made up of musical actresses, and was even put together by a musical star.

Indeed, the song certainly has the feel of a musical number rather than a pop release, and would not be out of place in a production of “Chicago,” as it has a jazzy beat and features upbeat brass instrumentation.

Viewers might also want to wait until after they have had a hearty meal before watching the video. There are only a few fleeting glimpses of the members (Song Sang Eun, Lee Da Yeon, and Jung Ka Hee) who are mainly shown in silhouette. Instead, the video features quite a lot of pictures of food. 

The lyrics, also, offer no respite for anyone feeling hungry. “Wish List” is a long list of various food and drink items that the girls say they would like to eat. The video culminates in a final shot of a large table piled high with all sorts of fruit and sugary snacks: everything from breakfast cereals to bagels.
