Singer Lisa Expresses Discomfort When "Radio Star" Brings Up Her Old Relationship with Song Chang Ui

Singer Lisa recently expressed her discomfort at having her name brought up during the latest episode of “Radio Star.”

On the morning of July 24, she posted on her Twitter, “I was doing fine. Why are you being like that? It’s not funny to me,” referring to the episode that aired the night of July 23.

The July 23 broadcast of “Radio Star” featured the cast of the musical “Blood Brothers”: Song Chang Ui, Jo Jung Suk, Oh Jong Hyuk, and Jang Seung Jo. During the episode, host Kim Goo Ra tossed a very straightforward question at Song Chang Ui, asking him what happened to Lisa, whom he had dated after doing the musical “Gwanghwamun Love Song” together, but broken up with in June of last year.

Kim Goo Ra said, “Before Lisa had dated Song Chang Ui, she came onto my radio program. She’s pretty, can draw, and has a lot of talents. Also, her father is a diplomat, and has exactly the kind of qualities I like, so I was keeping an eye out for her, but then I found out they [Song Chang Ui and Lisa] were dating.”

When Song Chang Ui seemed taken aback, Kim Goo Ra said, “It’s just for fun. I just asked for kicks.”

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun then asked whether they broke up on good terms, at which Song Chang Ui said, “We did, why?” again looking uncomfortable.

Following the incident, “Radio Star” apologized: “Talking about someone who was not a guest on the program, and with whom the guest’s relationship has already ended, we should’ve taken more care, and the fault is on us. We apologize for not being more careful and considerate of Lisa’s feelings on the matter. In the future, we will take care to prevent viewers from feeling uncomfortable.”
