Recording of “Music Japan” Interrupted Due to the Appearance of Taeyang and Daesung

Big Bang’s Taeyang and Daesung recently filmed NHK’s “Music Japan,” which is the most well known music program in Japan.

Although Big Bang appeared on the show before as a group, this is the first time Taeyang and Daesung appeared together.

On July 25, Taeyang and Daesung’s agency, YG Entertainment, revealed, “For this filming, about 3,000 people were invited to the NHK hall in Tokyo. About 10 teams appeared on the show but when Taeyang and Daesung appeared, the audience cheered the loudest. The cheer was so loud that during the talk with the MC, they had to stop the interview.”

During this episode, Daesung performed the song, “Shut Up,” which is one of the tracks that’s on his original album, “D’slove.” The album was released in Japan on July 16. Also, Taeyang performed the Japanese version of “1AM,” which will be included on his Japan debut album, “Rise.” The album will be released on August 13.

Meanwhile, Daesung is currently doing a solo arena tour, and so far he visited a total of eight cities and held a total of 15 shows. The tour had been in progress for about two months and he has two shows left. The two remaining shows will be held on July 26 and July 27 at Osaka and is also planning a solo for this fall.

Currently, Taeyang is receiving a lot of love for his title track, “Eyes, Nose, Lips,” which is the title song on his second full-length album. On August 13, he will be releasing an album in Japan called, “Rise,” and will contain the solo songs that’s been released so far. Through this album, he will officially debut in Japan as a solo artist. On August 12, he will begin his first Japan solo tour, and he will be visiting a total of six cities and will hold 13 shows.

This episode of “Music Japan” will be aired on September 8.
