Singer Jung Joon Young to Cameo In “Fated to Love You”

Singer Jung Joon Young will be appearing in MBC’s “Fated to Love You” as a cameo.

On August 8, an official informed Tenasia that, “It looks like Jung Joon Young will be appearing on ‘Fated to Love You.’ We’re contemplating on what kind of role he’ll be playing and we’ve discussed this in a positive light.”

In episode eight of “Fated to Love You,” that was aired on July 24, Jung Joon Young’s voice made a surprising appearance as a radio DJ. This time, he will actually appear in person and will play a role that will make Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara’s relationship more active.

Jung Joon Young became a singer through the audition program, “Superstar K4” and afterwards, became very active by appearing in KBS2’s “1 Night, 2 Days,” being the MC of Mnet’s “MCountdown,” and being a radio DJ. Recently, it has been confirmed that he will be appearing in the film, “Today’s Love,” and will officially debut on-screen as an actor.

Also, Jung Joon Young has revealed that he’s a big fan of Jang Nara. On the August 3 episode of MBC’s “Star Gazing,” the singer revealed that, “When I was living a lonely life in China, ‘New Nonstop’ was my only support. Jang Nara’s clumsy character at that time gave me a lot of strength.” He also talked about Jang Nara several times on his radio show. Through this, Jung Joon Young gladly accepted the love call he received from the staff of the drama for his voice to be featured. Now, he will physically appear in the drama as a cameo.

According to the viewer rating research company, TNmS, “Fated to Love You” has a viewer rating of 10.6%, nationally, and 13.7% in Seoul. Currently, “Fated to Love You” is the number one drama in ratings among the Wednesday-Thursday dramas.
