Korean Media Provides Photos of Son Ho Young and Ami to Support Relationship Claims Despite Denials

Earlier on September 1, local news media source TV Report reported that singer Son Ho Young of g.o.d and rookie singer Ami have been dating for four months. Son Ho Young’s management agency, CJ E&M, denied the claim, saying that the two were only close colleagues in the industry. Read more about it here.

After the official stance from Son Ho Young, another local and media source Dispatch published photos of Son Ho Young and Ami on what it described as a “bicycle date.” The photos showed Son Ho Young, wearing a mask, and singer Ami riding their bikes together around the neighborhood on August 12. Dispatch wrote that acquaintances of the two know them as a sports couple, enjoying a variety of sports together.

Following the report by Dispatch, Son Ho Young’s rep reaffirmed to various other news sources that their artist and Ami were not dating. They two became close as they both enjoyed sports and are in the same bowling team. “They are just exercising in the same places together.”

This statement did not quiet down the dating reports as TV Report once again asserted that the two were dating by producing photos of Son Ho Young and Ami together in “couple selcas.” In one, Son Ho Young and Ami wear face packs together, and in another, they pout for the camera. There is yet to be an official response to these photos from Son Ho Young’s agency.

Ami is a solo singer who debuted in 2010. She made her name known mostly through drama OSTs songs, such as “Everyday I Let You Go” from “Iris 2.” She is nine years Son Ho Young’s junior.
