"Grandpas over Flowers" Show Format Sold to NBC for an American Remake

tvN‘s hit variety program “Grandpas over Flowers” will be remade into an American reality program on NBC.

CJ E&M released on September 3: “The format for ‘Grandpas over Flowers’ has been sold to American broadcast channel NBC, to be remade into a show called ‘Better Late than Never.'”

“Better Late than Never” will have an identical format to the original Korean program, where famous Hollywood senior stars will go on trips. The American production company is currently in the process of casting for the show.

With this, “Grandpas over Flowers” became the first Korean variety program to have its format sold to an American broadcast channel.

“Grandpas over Flowers” remake “Better Late than Never” is scheduled for an early-2015 premiere on NBC.
