MC Mong Delays Comeback Date, Collaborations with Hyorin, Ailee, and More

Rapper and variety show star MC Mong has announced he will be making his long-awaited comeback in November, some five years since his last release.

The star’s new album is set to drop on November 3, and the hip hop star’s group of collaborators on the album reads like a Who’s Who of K-Pop. Enlisted to guest on the album include SISTAR member Hyorin, solo singers Huh Gak, Ailee, Leessang rapper Gary, and veteran singers Baek Ji Young and Lee Sun Hee.

A spokesperson for MC Mong said that although plans had been afoot to release the album at a sooner date, the rapper wanted a little more time to put the finishing touches on his comeback material. The representative said, “It has been 5 years since he released his last album. We have so many singers on board to supporting the new material. We are about 80 percent done, so we have decided to make a slight delay to the release to make some improvements.”
