Park Hae Jin in Talks for Drama Role as a Joseon Era Vampire Scholar

Actor Park Hae Jin in currently in talks for a new fantasy sageuk, “The Scholar Who Walks the Night.” 

The actor’s agency stated to various media sources that Park Hae Jin has received the casting offer to star in drama and will make a decision after considering his schedule for the first half of next year.

“The Scholar Who Walks the Night” is expected to air in the latter half of next year and has yet to find a broadcasting station to air it.

“The Scholar Who Walks the Night”  will be based of the popular manhwa of the same name that tells the story of a young woman from a yangban (upperclass) family that has been framed for treason who meets a strange scholar with beautiful looks. Park Hae Jin has been offered that male lead role. Interestingly, rumors were abound earlier this year that his “My Love from the Stars” co-star Kim Soo Hyun was going to play that role.

Park Hae Jin is currently starring in OCN’s “Bad Guys.”
