Luhan's Case Against SM Entertainment Forwarded to Arbitration
On November 25, Luhan’s lawsuit against SM Entertainment, which was filed earlier on October 10, was forwarded to arbitration, a chance for the parties to meet at a middle ground prior to the beginning of the trials.
There are cases in which the involved party may directly request an arbitration, but if that is not the case, and the judge sees a possibility for compromise, he/she has the authority to forward a case to mediation.
In the event that the arbitration is not successful, or one of the parties does not show up, the case may undergo compulsory mediation or proceed to the court rooms as originally planned.
