Jun Ji Hyun Surpasses Suzy, Kim Soo Hyun, and Kim Yuna as Top CF model

Although the hit SBS drama “Man from the Stars” ended earlier this year in February, the impact of its popularity is still being felt. One way to measure a celebrity’s popularity is to look at the number of endorsement deals they receive. And actress Jun Ji Hyun has been on a roll.

In the 2014 Media & Consumer Report (MCR) sponsored by the Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation (KOBACO), Jun Ji Hyun occupied the number one spot as the most memorable endorsement model this year, having been selected by 15.9 percent of consumers. While Jun Ji Hyun has been known as a CF queen even before “Man from the Stars,” she has actually never placed within the top three on the MCR.

Suzy of girl group miss A’s  came in second place with 6.8 percent and actor Kim Soo Hyun was a close third with 6.7 percent. Retired ice skating queen turned CF queen Kim Yuna, who swept first place in 2009, 2010, and 2013 and placed within the top three for five years straight, came in fourth with 6.3 percent. Hyun Bin, who is returning to the small screen January of next year with SBS drama “Hyde, Jekyll, I,” came in fifth with 4.6 percent.
