Buzz: "Hyun Bin Could Have Been Our Lead Singer"

Hyun Bin may be a very good actor but how does he fare as a singer? The actor might be a pretty good singer after all as the rock band Buzz has recently revealed that Hyun Bin could’ve been their main vocalist during their early stages as a band!

On the December 1 episode of the SBS PowerFM show “Kim Chang Ryul’s Old School,” the band Buzz has revealed that another person could’ve been their lead singer and not their vocalist Min Kyung Hoon.

Guitarist Son Sung Hee revealed, “In the past, during the early stages of Buzz, Hyun Bin almost became our vocalist. Eventually, he was dropped.” DJ Kim Chang Ryul was intrigued and asked, “Hyun Bin? Shouldn’t you have just held on to him?,” referring to how popular the actor must have been even then.

Vocalist Min Kyung Hoon replied with a sad tone, “It’s because it’s only my singing style (that fits) Buzz’s songs then,” and made the studio laugh.

The rock band Buzz has made their debut in 2003 and was one of the original “Flower boy bands.” After going through some member changes and a long hiatus, Buzz has made a comeback after eight years. Through this radio show, the group was able to share stories from their army days as well as the things they have been busy with in the past eight years.
