Choi Jin Hyuk and Choi Min Soo Think "Pride and Prejudice" Is Intellectually Challenging
Stars of MBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Pride and Prejudice,” Choi Jin Hyuk and Choi Min Soo, have shared their thoughts on the challenges of filming – and watching – the procedural drama.
On December 9, the cast of the drama gathered to the MBC Center in Sangam for a press conference.
During the event, actor Choi Min Soo said, “You need to be smart in order to watch the drama. If you are slow to understand, you can’t watch it.”
“Because there are times when even we don’t know what we are talking about. We actors are currently following our instincts while acting out the given scenarios,” the actor explained. “Actually, it might be a good thing that the actors are given less scripts. I would like to see the younger actors immersing themselves in the drama more.”
Agreeing with his colleague’s comments, Choi Jin Hyuk said, “The viewers might already know, but our drama is quite unfriendly [to the viewers]. Because of that, we face a lot of challenges as well, and we study a lot. However, the filming times are rather short. There are almost no cases of shoots extending past midnight. The filming ends quickly, but we have lots of homework to do. Still, I am doing my best to study hard and show a good image.”
