SBS Gayo Daejun Starts Off with Embarrassing Broadcasting Accident
SBS Gayo Daejun opened its stage with an embarrassing broadcasting accident.
The first stage for 2014 SBS Gayo Daejun, which was held on December 21 at Coex in Seoul, was the Super Rookie stage.
Winner appeared after Lovelyz had finished their performance. However, during Winner’s opening, Lovelys’ microphones were not turned off, causing the sound of them thanking the staff to echo throughout the stage. It was clear to the audience that Gayo Daejun had a mistake by capturing double sounds from both Winner and Lovelyz’s microphones.
SBS revived Gayo Daejun awards for the first time in eight years after it had been discontinued in 2006. The award winners for 2014 were selected based on official data such as download numbers, album sales, and SNS views.
Additionally SAF (SBS Awards Festival) was held, shaking off the traditional arrangements of typical broadcasting awards. It will bring together SBS’s most popular variety, documentary, drama, and radio contents together from December 20 to 31 at Coex. The mini concerts of famous artists and the greetings of the main cast of popular variety shows and dramas are bringing a different yet intriguing entertainment to the audience.
