Lee Kwang Soo’s Fan Signing Requires 100 Security Officials to Control Crowds
So many fans gathered at actor Lee Kwang Soo’s fan signing event in Vietnam that over 100 policemen and safety guards were on site to ensure the safety of everyone gathered.
Lee Kwang Soo, who is popular throughout Asia due to the variety show “Running Man,” held a fan signing event in Vietnam. On January 24, in Ho Chi Minh City, Lee Kwang Soo attended a store opening for a Korean coffee brand. As a part of the store’s opening celebration, Lee Kwang Soo signed autographs for fans.
Lee Kwang Soo’s agency, King Kong Entertainment, shared that “Over 2000 fans gathered since early in the morning to meet Lee Kwang Soo. There were also lots of media personnel on hand, competing with each other to cover the event. Nearby roads were jam-packed as traffic was paralyzed. To secure the safety of those present, over 100 police and security personnel were mobilized to control the crowd.”
One local Vietnamese media outlet uploaded pictures on their SNS, showing evidence of the fervor surrounding “Asia’s Prince” Lee Kwang Soo.
