Yang Hyun Suk Says BIGBANG and iKON’s Albums Are Priorities, but Jinusean May Make Comeback This Year
YG Entertainment’s Yang Hyun Suk revealed that Jinusean may come back for the first time in 11 years.
In an interview, Yang Hyun Suk shared he is thinking positively about Jinusean’s comeback this year, and said, “Sean came to me two months before ‘Saturday Saturday Is a Singer’ and talked about releasing new songs. At the time though, I told him that it might be difficult since there would be many comebacks for YG in 2015.”
After the “Infinity Challenge’s” special aired, however, Yang Hyun Suk confessed that he changed his mind. “After [the special] aired, Jinu joined in with Sean to convince me about releasing new songs. Thinking about it, I realized Jinusean is one of the first singers to become successful in YG, and that many fans are waiting for new songs. In reality, an album with a lot of new songs may be difficult, but a single is very possible and is being considered positively,” he said.
For fans that have been worrying about BIGBANG’s new album and IKON’s debut, he commented, “I will keep the promises with fans. Talks of Jinusean’s comeback have been going around, and I am certainly thinking positively of it. However, BIGBANG’s album and IKON’s debut is more important.”
