Announcing the Results of the 10th Annual Soompi Awards 2014

With over 23 million votes and voters from 139 countries, this year’s Soompi Awards were the most exciting yet! For the first time ever, we added TV & Drama categories to celebrate SoompiTV joining our family this past October. Voting occurred from December 23, 2014 – January 6, 2015 on the web, via the official Soompi accounts on the LINE app, and on Twitter.

The awards for music were based on votes by international fans and our own Soompi Music Charts, which are featured each week on the show “A Song For You.” The drama awards were based purely on fan votes.

We held a special event for “Best Fandom” where fans tweeted special hashtags to cast their votes. During the two 24-hour voting windows at the beginning and end of the voting period, several of our hashtags were trending worldwide, including #SOOMPIAWARDS2014, #ILoveSuperJunior, #ILoveBTS, and more.

Our friends at Myx TV will be broadcasting the results of the Soompi Awards for the fourth year on Friday, February 20 at 8pm EST/5pm PST. Myx TV is an English-language Asian American cable channel broadcast in 15 million households in the US.

Thanks to everyone who helped to make this year’s Soompi Awards a success, especially to all the fans who voted. A special thanks to edward1849, the creator of the Soompi Music Charts and organizer of the awards for the 10th year.
