Girls Day Members Cheer Minah On During Her Solo Album MV Filming

Girl’s Day’s Sojin, Yura, and Hyeri are helping Minah power through her first solo debut, showing the close bond between the group’s members.

“On March 8, Sojin, Yura, and Hyeri visited the studio for the music video filming of Mina’s solo title song “I am a Woman Too” to cheer her on,” their managing agency Dream Entertainment said. “Though Minah was nervous about her solo debut, she was able to finish the filming strong with the help of her members.”

Minah will be the fist of the members to branch out as a solo artist since their debut in 2010. In her mini album “I Am a Woman Too,” she will be expressing the process of how a young girl matures into woman.

“Transitioning from a group to a solo is a big pressure. However, thanks to Sojin, Yura, and Hyeri’s encouragement, I’m starting to transform this pressure into courage,” Minah said. “I’ll make my members and fans proud by putting on a good show.”

Meanwhile, she will be releasing the album and music video for “I Am a Woman” on March 16.
