JTBC Announces End of Talk Show "Inside Story Salon"

JTBC’s “Inside Story Salon” will be ending its run this month, according to a report by OSEN.

Industry insiders say that JTBC has decided to wrap up the show after airing the final episode on March 22.

The talk show was initially planned to premiere on October 26 with Yoon Jong Shin, Jang Dong Min, Jin Jung Kwon, M.I.B‘s Kangnam, and late Shin Hae Chul as the MCs. However, due to the sudden passing of Shin Hae Chul, JTBC canceled the scheduled press conference for the show, and postponed the premiere to a later date.

The show finally aired its first episode on November 2, and with the addition of Heo Ji Woong and Lee Hyun Yi as two new hosts in December, the show saw a slight increase in viewership. It appears, however, that the program failed to live up to the expectations, leading to its cancellation after four months.

“Inside Story Salon” attempts to better understand human psychology through analyzing relevant experiments and data.

JTBC is planning to come up with a new show for the spring season.
