Yoo Jae Suk Describes Kim Jong Kook's Anger at HaHa and Byul's Engagement

Yoo Jae Suk has revealed that Kim Jong Kook was angered by the announcement of HaHa and Byul’s marriage in 2012.

On the March 19 “lovers special” episode of “Happy Together 3,” Byul discussed the sudden engagement and marriage to HaHa several years ago, saying, “I was thirty years old at the time. I felt very sure about him and didn’t feel that I needed a lot of time to date, so we moved very quickly.”

Yoo Jae Suk then recalled the time he learned of their relationship, saying, “I went to HaHa’s father’s seventieth birthday party, and Byul was there. I was surprised to see her there because only close acquaintances were invited. At that time, I didn’t know they were together. That was when he told everyone,” he said, describing HaHa’s announcement of his and Byul’s engagement.

“But the funny thing was that Kim Jong Kook was really mad when he heard, slamming his spoon down,” he continued. “Thinking of it now, it was really strange. Even funnier, though, was that HaHa’s father didn’t even come to the party. The star of the party had something else going on and didn’t even come. It was a strange party,” he said, drawing laughter.
