BIGBANG and 2NE1 Win Big at ‘2015 YouTube Music Awards’
BIGBANG and 2NE1 were announced as the only K-Pop artists to be included in the top 50 winners at the ‘2015 YouTube Music Awards.’
On March 23, the day of the awards ceremony, YouTube’s official Twitter account posted a series of tweets highlighting 13 of the 50 winners, which included BIGBANG and 2NE1. These two groups were put in the spotlight amongst international names such as Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and more.
The Twitter account used the tag “#YTMA” to share a number of facts about the big winners of the YouTube Music Awards. The tweets mentioned that “BIGBANG’s videos have 1.2 billion total views” and “you’ve watched enough of 2NE1’s ‘Come Back Home’ to get us to the 24th century (285.6 years).”
Meanwhile, BIGBANG is preparing for a highly-anticipated full group comeback for the first time in three years.
