“Fluttering India” to Be a Series with Multiple Destinations

The producer of “Fluttering India,” Lee Ye Ji, revealed that she plans on having the program as a series with multiple seasons.

During a press conference on April 9 about KBS 2TV‘s variety show “Fluttering India,” Lee Ye Ji said, “It’s a program that was planned as a series. But it was so hard to coordinate the members’ schedules. As they say, it’s hard to even catch a meal with each other and it’s the dream of the ‘Fluttering’ series that these same members would stay on.”

She added, “It was the first time that the members met the staff and we got to know each other on the way, such as who likes what and who’s good at what. At first, we didn’t tell them much when we went to India because we wanted to emphasize the reality of the show.”

She also said, “The next destination hasn’t been decided yet. We wanted to make the next trip self-directed so we got project proposals from the members. It’s hard to reveal that results yet. The CEO said that the proposal was up to par with new reporters. We had a meeting with the proposal, and we will choose one that has news value and the next trip will be decided based on that.”

Meanwhile, “Fluttering India” is a variety show where five K-pop stars, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, SHINee’s Minho, CNBLUE’s Jonghyun, INFINITE’s Sunggyu, and EXO’s Suho turn into KBS newsroom’s correspondent. TVXQ’s Changmin will also be making an appearance. The first episode will air on April 10 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
