AOA’s Jimin Shares Why She Doesn’t Take Diss Raps Personally
AOA’s Jimin is featured in a new pictorial and interview for the May issue of Arena Homme Plus magazine.
In the pictorial, Jimin is a femme fatale as she poses in leather jackets, boots, and crop corsets against the setting sun.
During the corresponding interview, Jimin shares about her experience as a contestant on female survival rap competition “Unpretty Rapstar.”
She says, “The rappers who came out on ‘Unpretty Rapstar’ had such strong personalities that even the PD was taken aback, but as time passed, we got closer.”
She also shares how she’s able to not take diss raps, which were prevalent on the show, personally, “Disses are the culture so failing to properly attack the competitor or properly counterattack is viewed as not having respect. [The contestants on ‘Unpretty Rapstar’] promised each other not to get hurt by these things before we took the stage.”
Meanwhile, Jimin is slated to be the first participant in FNC Entertainment’s hip-hop collaboration “N Project.”
