“Hidden Identity” Cast Put Their Game Face On in Preparation for Drama
On April 28, actors and actresses starring in the upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Hidden Identity” gathered for the first script-reading meeting.
The action-thriller drama follows the story of a secret police unit that bends the limits of the law in order to fight crime. The characters in the drama pretend to be regular citizens but are actually cops who have the authority to use any means necessary to weed out criminal elements in society.
On April 24, Kim Bum, playing the “human weapon” Cha Gun Woo, Yoon So Yi, playing the multi-talented Jang Min Joo, Park Sung Woong, playing the leader Jang Moo Won, and Lee Won Jong, playing the informational IT Choi Tae Pyeong, and more gathered for the script-reading of “Hidden Identity.”
Kim Bum showed up with a grown beard, looking more tough and manly than usual. Park Sung Woong led the atmosphere of the meeting with his calm and charismatic charms built up from years of acting experience. Yoon So Yi showed diverse expressions and voices in order to fit in with her character who often needs to go into disguise. Lee Won Jong perfectly got into character with his signature natural acting skills and tone of voice.
Although this was their first time gathering to read the script, their talented acting skills made the reading feel like they were actually in the middle of shooting. Plus, they naturally tossed ad-libs back and forth and showed great chemistry with one another.
Producer Hwang Joon Hyuk expressed, “The actors and actresses have great chemistry with each other so I’m excited to go into shooting later. We will do our best to produce a new style of drama with fast-paced development and action, so please give lots of love.”
“Hidden Identity” will be the follow-up drama after “Let’s Eat 2” finishes its run in June.
